What Is the Jazz Festival?
The Jazz Festival, presented by the Apex Art League, is Southlake’s 12th annual celebration of jazz music. To celebrate this year, the Apex Art League is bringing in the University of Texas One O’Clock Lab Band, directed by Alan Baylock. This band, a part of the University of North Texas’s Jazz Studies Program, has been Grammy-nominated seven times, meaning you won’t want to miss this performance.
The jazz bands from three local high schools (Carroll High School, Boswell High School, and Denton High School) will open for the One O’Clock, performing pieces written by composition students at the University of North Texas.

The Jazz Festival will be held this Saturday, February 29th, 2020, at 7 PM in the Carroll Senior High School Auditorium, located at 1501 W Southlake Blvd, Southlake, TX, 76092.
