Do you notice that your teenagers find themselves looking for something new and interesting to do during summer vacation? If you think you may have a writer on your hands, look no further than this upcoming event. No experience is necessary, just an interest in scribbling down one’s thoughts and crafting it into a story or two.
What Is the Event?
This is an encouraging writing workshop event for teenagers who are interested in learning more about the craft of writing and finding their own style. Your children can expect the following (and more):
- The workshop will be held by Jenny Martin, a published author
- Your teen will have the chance to try out different ways of writing
- The event will be held with the “workshop” method, which means participants may share their writing and receive feedback

The workshop will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 2pm to 3pm.
Who Is Invited?
Teens 13 to 19 years of age are invited.
