If travel will take you away from home for an extended time, the Vacation House Watch program can give you peace of mind. This service is provided by the Southlake Police Department, for Southlake residents who will be away for more than just a few days. Officers from the Southlake Police Department will drive by on a regular basis, to make sure there are no signs of trouble.

How Do I Request This Service?

Registration should be made online using the Vacation House Watch form . You can leave information on the dates you will be gone, and other information to assist officers when they check on your house.

How Often Will an Officer Come By?

A police office will perform a drive-by security check at least once per shift.

How Much Does This Service Cost?

The Vacation House Watch program does not have a charge. It helps makes the city safer for everyone.

What If My Travel Dates Change?

You can change the dates requested by calling the dispatch center at 817-743-4524.
