If your dental hygiene feels like it’s taking forever, it’s probably not the brushing and flossing. The same is true for visits! If it seems like they take up a lot of your time but you only see us for the suggested two visits, then something is off. Caring for your smile should feel like it barely takes any time at all (because this is simply the reality of the situation). We happen to have a couple very helpful ideas on hand that can potentially change your life! Let’s get started.
#1: Schedule Everything Out
If you feel like you’re frantically trying to care for your smile on a regular basis, things like dental hygiene probably feel more time consuming than they really are. When you’re pressed for time, for instance, a full two minutes can feel very long. However, if you have all the time in the world, two minutes for brushing feels like a tiny blip in your day. Schedule everything ahead of time (visits, too), so you’re relaxed.
#2: Stop Misplacing Things
Do you often bring your toothbrush and toothpaste to work with you? Do your children take your toothpaste because they like it more than their own? Do you run out of products quite often? When you’re spending time looking for your dental hygiene products, having to run to the store to replace items, and you can’t just walk into the bathroom and get started, it can feel like it takes forever. Streamline everything by purchasing what you need for every aspect of your life (for example, a work set of dental hygiene items that you leave at work will help significantly).
