Teen Halloween (Virtual) Scavenger Hunt

Does your celebration of Halloween start the moment you wake up in the morning? Is this because you have teenagers who are ready to wear the costumes they’ve been working on, more than ready to eat candy, and there’s a party in the evening requiring at least a half a day’s worth of preparation? If so, you might want to throw this somewhat virtual event into the mix for an extra special way to spend some family time together before they’re off with their friends!

What Is This Event?

This event is the Teen Halloween Scavenger Hunt. Unlike a traditional scavenger hunt, which requires the individual to follow clues from one physical location to the next, this takes place in a virtual landscape. Your teenager will download “photo challenges” from the Southlake Library’s website, follow the instructions, capture images as evidence of reaching the final destination from each clue, and then post them to Instagram with a special hashtag. Get to the end of the event and the chance to win treasure awaits!
