Read To A Dog Day

Have you been looking for something relaxing for your children to do this summer? Perhaps one of your goals is to inspire your little ones to feel confident and excited about reading. Whatever the case, you can expect your son or daughter to have an enjoyable (and somewhat educational) experience at this upcoming library event.

What Is This?

This event is Read to a Dog, an exciting opportunity for your little one to read to therapy dog, Malbec. This pup is a beloved, certified therapy dog registered as a Reading Education Assistance Dog (R.E.A.D.). The library offers this as an event because reading to a lovable pup is a wonderful way to improve your child’s love and appreciate for reading. It’s pretty fun, too.

When Is It?

The event will take place on Saturday, July 18 from 10am to 11:30am.

Where Is It?

Reading will occur at the Southlake Library, located at the following address:

1400 Main Street
Suite 130
Southlake, TX 76092
